Regarding delivery delays of postal items to Europe and Africa due to the worsening situation in the Middle East:

Japan Post has announced the following information.

Due to the expanding impact of the deteriorating situation in the Middle East, restrictions have been placed on the loading of postal items and cargo destined for that region. As a result, flights and sea transport serving surrounding regions such as Europe and Africa are currently extremely congested, and deliveries are taking longer than usual.

Depending on future developments, there is also a possibility that accepted mail items may have to be returned to customers.

Affected regions: All countries in Europe and all countries in Africa.
